Apologies, one of the problems of doing all this on smart phone apps with very poor signal and slow speeds is that you can’t always check to see what is wrong and because I have the screen on minimum brightness I can’t see how the photos have come out so it is a very “best guess” effort.
Apologies, these are very much a running commentry and we will do a better report when we get back with pics not off the phone cameras

Just fantastic. Like a mill pond. We have a great campsite on “Wallaby Island”. Glen & Tig put the tipi up. I went to get fire wood, lit the fire, all was fine and dandy. I was splitting a log using the safest method possible, the ax bounced off and ended up in my right big toe. The ax is like a razor and I didn’t feel a thing. Result = Big cut, nice and clean, possibly cut the nail bed, apparently not to the bone but not far off.
I feel like shite, angry, I mean very angry. What an idiot. I am lucky I didn’t loose my toe.
Glen and Tig have been brilliant. I will live and am now lying in the tent because I felt feint.
No tap dancing for a while I guess. Thank God there I no portage tomorrow.

I have decided that we haven’t had enough pain and suffering since Saturday. So to amend this I have just bought a 3 CD country music compilation. A couple of hours in the company of Dolly Parton and Jonny Cash should do the trick.
After all pain is a sign of weakness leaving your body.

Stu : I’ll let you feel my spoon
Glen : everything feels fluffy
Stu: ooo pink snake …. (bad Scottish accent) DIRTY
I think it is going to be a long 2 hours….
Update :
Stu : I am going to buy a country and western cd and punish you, you can get them at service stations…
As I type this Stu has just returned from paying for fuel and has returned with a bag of sweets, two cans of monster ripper and a solar powered colour changing butterfly…
