first evening paddle of the summer!

Well Glen & I have just completed the first evening paddle of the year. A river run from Arley to Bewdley. We were on the river for 70 minutes. It was a disturbing paddle for me as I had the use of Glen’s Dagger Legend. It was much tippier and spinnier than my old Mad River Explorer. I am pleased to report no drama in Eymore Rapids – I did shout “I’m still alive!” Once they were over. The evening was beautiful, warm and still. Loads of fish rising to grab flies hatching. We saw some anglers who were waiting for the season to open at midnight.
All in all a great paddle in great company. Stewey.

Prototype images and GPS stuff online

Right I have dumped my phone camera and (most) of the GPS traces (still not done the 8th, ie trip up as that got messy) onto the site. I am still playing with the various tech to make it look nice but so far it is doing the job :)

Content should be on the right of the screen, oh try the slideshow link :)

At Mallaig

Just found this draft on the phone:

After a stunning drive through the mountains we have arrived at Mallaig. I am pleased to report that the new chauffeur, Glenys, is taking to driving the truck well.
